On 27 May 2026, the auspicious occasion of Ekadasi, the new School Building Block at Ramakrishna Mission, Malliankaranai was formally inaugurated by Most Revered Srimat Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj, President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math.
The building has been constructed with the generous support of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), New Delhi, under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The following representatives of RVNL graced the occasion as Chief Guests:
- Smt. Anupam Bhan, Director (Personnel) and Chairperson, CSR Committee, RVNL, New Delhi
- Sri Anil Kumar Mahato, Co-ordinator, CSR, RVNL, New Delhi
- Sri Udatha Sudhakar, Chief Project Manager, RVNL, Chennai
Approximately 60 sadhus of the Ramakrishna Order were present and participated in the sacred proceedings.
A public meeting was held on the occasion, attended by nearly 500 devotees, students, parents, and well-wishers. The programme commenced with a welcome cultural performance by students of the Primary School and concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. Most Revered President Maharaj blessed all those assembled — devotees, students, parents, well-wishers, and dignitaries alike.
As part of the celebrations, approximately 1,000 participants were served a mid-day meal.
