Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal, observed a three-day programme from 17 to 19 January 2026, marked by the inauguration of the new Pre-Primary School, Annual School Celebration, and several educational initiatives. The events began on 17 January with puja and homa at the renovated Pre-Primary School building, performed by Swami Jnanamritananda. A separate puja was also conducted at the Babupara prayer hall by Revered Swami Nareshananda, in the presence of Revered Swami Satyeshananda and other monks. Nearly 200 attendees participated. To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Mission, mementos were distributed to all committee members and staff.
In the afternoon, the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, inaugurated the new Pre-Primary School, with Revered Swami Satyeshananda and Sri Govindas Konthoujam as Guests of Honour. The school’s first magazine, “Echoes of a Decade”, was also released, attended by nearly 600 parents and teachers.
On 18 January, the Annual Celebration commenced with addresses by Revered Swami Satyeshananda and Sri Y. Hemachandra Singh, followed by student awards and cultural performances involving over 300 students.
On 19 January, the Mathematics Laboratory and an innovative Knowledge Carnival with 72 stalls were inaugurated, promoting experiential learning. The Beyond Classroom Gathering, attended by nearly 200 people, featured talks by senior monks and culminated with cultural presentations.
