Inauguration of Sarada Block : Vrindavan


Sarada Block, the new and well-equipped wing of the charitable hospital of the 112 years old Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama was inaugurated on Thursday, 28 November 2019 by Sri Ramnath Kovind, the Hon’ble President of India. Smt. Anandiben Patel, Hon’ble Governor of UP; Yogi Adityanathji, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Swami Tattvavidanandaji, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission were among the many other dignitaries on the occasion.

The new block covering an area of 93,000 sq.ft. houses Prayer Space, Female Surgical Ward, two modular Operation Theatres, Emergency Ward, Maternity Ward, Labour Room in the Ground Floor; 22-bed Intensive Care Unit, Paediatric Ward, Play Room for the admitted children, Private Cabins, Cancer Ward, Cancer Day-Care in the First Floor; MRI, CT, DR X-Ray, Ultrasound, Hospital Store, Pharmacy, CSSD, Conference Hall, Medical Records Dept, Cafeteria in the Basement.

The President expressed his happiness and commended the selfless work carried on for more than a century by Ramakrishna Mission.

The Chief Minister and Governor of Uttar Pradesh paid tribute to Ramakrishna Mission’s silent services in various fields, bringing education, health, food and a new light in life to one and all.
On the same day, at 4.00 pm, the Intensive Care Unit was inaugurated by Swami Muktinathanandaji and at 5.00 pm the Extension Plant of the Oxygen Plant by Sri Conrad Latham, General Manager of Atlas Copco India Limited, amidst Vedic Chanting.
