1. Inauguration of the Swami Vagishananda Hall

The Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip, celebrated the inauguration of the “Swami Vagishananda Hall” located on the third floor of the Swami Vagishananda Bhavan, on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

The multi-purpose hall was formally inaugurated by Revered Swami Pareshatmanandaji Maharaj, Secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission, Raiganj. The presence of the revered monk conferred deep spiritual significance upon the occasion.

2. Hall Capacity and Utility

The newly inaugurated hall boasts a seating capacity of 150 persons and is designed to serve multiple critical functions for the Nabadwip Centre.

The hall will primarily be utilized for:

  1. Different functions and programs of the three educational wings operating under the Nabadwip Centre.
  2. Hosting various educational and cultural seminars, facilitating intellectual and spiritual engagement within the community.

3. Ceremony Highlights

During the ceremony, Swami Pareshatmanandaji Maharaj delivered an inspiring address, wherein he reminisced the different aspects of Swami Vagishananda’s Holy Life and highlighted His deep love for Nabadwip and the devotees.

The event was also graced by the presence of a notable public figure: Sri Tapan Kumar Chaterjee, MLA of Purbasthali, North.

The successful inauguration marks a key step in expanding the physical infrastructure and outreach capabilities of the Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip.
