Inauguration of Vivekananda Centre of Human Excellence and Free Ayurveda Clinic : Tirupati, October 2024

On October 2, 2024, the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Tirupati inaugurated two significant initiatives: the Vivekananda Centre of Human Excellence (VCHE) and a free Ayurveda clinic.

Inauguration of VCHE

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Swami Balabhadrananda ji, Assistant General Secretary of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. In his address, Swamiji emphasized the importance of truthfulness and goodness, urging students to harness the power of positive qualities. He also highlighted the significance of service, citing Sri Ramakrishna’s advice to Sri Mathur Babu. Swamiji expressed hope that the VCHE would empower young individuals to lead moral and ethical lives rooted in spiritual values.

Inauguration of Free Ayurveda Clinic

Swami Satyajnanananda ji, Adyaksha of the Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, inaugurated the free Ayurveda clinic. He invoked the blessings of the Holy Trio on the students and devotees, wishing for the VCHE’s growth and success in empowering the youth.

Public Meeting

A public meeting was held at the Vivekananda Sabhangana to celebrate the occasion. Swami Sukritananda, in his presidential address, welcomed the guests and explained the purpose and objectives of the VCHE. He highlighted the center’s aim to empower local youth with computer skills and character-building values inspired by Swami Vivekananda.

Dr. P. Muralikrishna, a renowned Ayurvedic specialist, shed light on the holistic nature of Ayurveda and the importance of practical experience in modern education.

The event concluded with felicitations to the speakers and a vote of thanks proposed by Swami Vishwarajananda.
