Inauguration of Yogananda Bhavan (Staff Quarters)
On December 20, 2025, a significant milestone was reached at Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar, with the inauguration of Yogananda Bhavan, a modern three-storey staff quarters building. The ceremony was graced by Revered Swami Jnanavratanandaji, Treasurer of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math.
The inauguration was marked by a special puja dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna and a havan performed within the new edifice. The atmosphere was further spiritually elevated by the soulful bhajans rendered by the students.
Project Details and Purpose:
- Capacity: The building comprises fifteen 1-BHK quarters specifically designed for GDA staff members, along with three bachelor dormitories.
- Historical Context: The foundation stone for this project was laid on June 22, 2024, by Swami Satyeshanandaji Maharaj.
- Mission: This initiative is a vital part of the institution’s phased infrastructure upgradation, replacing five-decade-old facilities to provide dignified residential quarters and improve staff welfare.
Annual Prize Giving Ceremony
On December 19, 2025, the Ramakrishna Mission School, Narottam Nagar, celebrated its Annual Prize Giving Ceremony.
- Chief Guest: Shri Liyi Bagara, APCS (AG), Deputy Commissioner of Tirap.
- Presiding Officer: Revered Swami Jnanavratanandaji.
- Highlights: The school’s annual magazine, Narottam, was officially released, and prizes were awarded to students for their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements.
Farewell Programme
On the afternoon of December 20, 2025, a farewell programme was organized at the Vivekananda Sabhagriha for the outgoing students of Classes X and XII. Revered Swami Jnanavratanandaji Maharaj addressed the students, offering words of inspiration and guidance as they prepare to embark on their future endeavors.
