From 26 to 29 March 2026, Most Revered Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, visited the Rajkot center. His visit was marked by significant institutional developments and literary releases.
1. Infrastructure & Outreach (27 March 2026 – Sri Rama Navami)
To commemorate the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, two major projects were inaugurated:
- Swami Akhandananda Sevak Bhavan: A newly constructed residential block for the staff was formally opened.
- Vivek Rath (Mobile Value Education Van): This mobile unit is designed to visit educational institutions to spread value-based education through exhibitions, audio-visual presentations, lectures, and book sales.
2. Public Meeting & Spiritual Discourse (28 March 2026)
Revered Maharaj presided over a public meeting attended by approximately 400 devotees. Following the spiritual session, all attendees were provided with a sumptuous meal.
3. New Gujarati Publications
During the public meeting, five new Gujarati translations of prominent Ramakrishna-Vivekananda literature were released:
