Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Gurap celebrated International Yoga Day on 21 June 2026 with devotion and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with the National Song and the recitation of the Swadesh Mantra, composed by Swami Vivekananda, setting a spiritually uplifting tone for the gathering.
The Secretary of the Ashrama delivered an address on the occasion, highlighting the significance of International Yoga Day and elaborating on the transformative power of yoga in daily life.
Under the expert guidance of Sri Indrajit Roy, World Yoga Champion 2025, the assembled participants engaged in the practice of various yogāsanas.
The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. Approximately 150 participants, comprising students, devotees, and yoga enthusiasts, took part in the celebration.
