A Maternity and Child Welfare Services Programme, supported by Infosys Foundation, was organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Hatamuniguda on Wednesday, 26 November 2025. A total of 36 antenatal and postnatal mothers and 26 children (up to 3 years of age) were benefitted through this initiative.
The services provided included:
- General Health Check-ups
Comprehensive medical examinations were conducted for mothers and children by qualified healthcare professionals. - Distribution of Medicines and Nutritional Supplements
Beneficiaries received essential medicines along with nutritional food supplements such as:- Soya Chunks
- Moong Dal
- Masur Dal
- Flattened Rice
- Dates
- Chana Dal
- Chhatu
- Amul Spray
- Iodized Salt
- Cerelac Stage 1 (baby cereal with milk)
- Bath Soap
- Counselling Sessions
Expert doctors conducted counselling sessions on:- Nutrition and dietary requirements
- Pre- and post-natal wellbeing
- Maternal health and childcare
The programme was conducted smoothly and was greatly appreciated by the beneficiaries.
