On Sunday, 30 November 2025, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Sikra–Kulingram conducted three significant programmes at the Ashrama premises. Nearly 300 devotees and well-wishers participated in the events.
1. Inauguration of “Premananda Bhakta Nivas”
The newly constructed Premananda Bhakta Nivas was formally inaugurated by Revered Swami Suviranandaji Maharaj, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math.
This new facility will serve as a comfortable accommodation space for visiting devotees.
2. Foundation Stone Laying of the GAP Building
Revered Swami Suviranandaji Maharaj laid the foundation stone for the proposed Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa (GAP) Building.
The upcoming structure aims to enhance the Ashrama’s ongoing developmental and educational activities for local children.
3. Presentation of the “Viswanayak Vivekananda Epic Award”
In recognition of its cultural and spiritual contributions, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Sikra–Kulingram was presented with the “Viswanayak Vivekananda Epic Award” by the Indian Epic Culture Centre, Kolkata.
The Ashrama received the following:
- Certificate of Honour
- Two Trophies
- Cheque of ₹23,002
The award ceremony took place at the Ashrama and was presided over by Revered Swami Suviranandaji Maharaj.
