Ramakrishna Mission, Kailashahar conducted a Maternity and Child Welfare Services Camp on 26 January 2026 at Golakpur Tea Estate, a unit of Luxmi Tea Estate in Unakoti District. The project was carried out under the Maternity & Child Welfare Services project funded by the Infosys Foundation.
A total of 103 beneficiaries received support:
- 32 expecting mothers
- 71 children
Medical Support
A team of:
- 2 Doctors
- 4 Health Workers
provided the required medical care and guidance.
Items Distributed
All expecting mothers received:
- Free Medicines: Iron folic acid, calcium, paracetamol, cefixime, amoxicillin, multivitamins, pantoprazole/rabeprazole, ORS, O₂, etc.
- Nutritious Food Items: milk, sugar, eggs, fruits, masoor dal, Horlicks, etc.
- Toiletry Items: toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, surf, etc.
The camp was conducted successfully and benefited all participants.
