On 06 December 2025 (Saturday), the eighth medical camp under the Maternity and Child Welfare Services project was held at Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy Suswastha Kendra, Prachin Mayapur South, covering municipal wards 6 and 21 of Nabadwip Municipality. The project is being carried out by Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip with financial support from Infosys Foundation and infrastructural and professional support from Nabadwip Municipality.
Ration kits containing essential mother and child care items were distributed to 28 pregnant mothers. Doctors attended to 30 patients, including children, and provided free medicines and nutritional supplements such as vitamins, calcium, and folic acid. An awareness session on general health and hygiene for pregnant mothers was also conducted.
