On 20th September 2025 (Saturday), the 5th Medical Camp under the “Maternity and Child Welfare Services” Project was organised at Sri Chaitanya Suswastha Kendra, Baralghat, covering Ward Nos. 9, 10 & 11 of Nabadwip Municipality. This project is being implemented by Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip, with financial support from the Infosys Foundation and infrastructural, professional, and human resource support from Nabadwip Municipality.
The camp was graced by Dr. Kabirul Islam (Medical Officer, Nabadwip Municipality), Sri Tapas Khan (Public Health Officer), Smt. Manika Banerjee (Councillor), Sri Sabyasachi Mondal (Vice President, Managing Committee, RKM Nabadwip), Sri Sandip Pal (Assistant Secretary, Managing Committee, RKM Nabadwip), along with other dignitaries.
During the camp, 28 pregnant mothers were provided with ration kits containing essential items for mother and child care. Doctors attended to 64 patients, including children, and supplied them with medicines and nutritional supplements like vitamins, calcium, and folic acid, free of cost. An awareness session on general health and hygiene for pregnant mothers was also conducted.
