The Maternity and Child Welfare Services Project, funded by the Infosys Foundation and implemented by Ramakrishna Mission, Sribhumi Ashrama.
On 29 January 2026, a medical camp was successfully organised at Gardarashi village for pregnant mothers, lactating mothers, and children up to three years of age. The programme aimed to improve maternal and child health through timely medical care and essential nutritional support.
A total of 45 mothers and 45 children benefited from the camp. All beneficiaries were thoroughly examined by Dr. Atanubijoy Das, who provided appropriate medical consultation and health guidance.
Along with the medical check-ups, nutritious food kits were distributed to all beneficiaries. Each kit contained:
- Protein powder – 2 packets
- Cerelac – 1 packet
- Masoor dal – 1 kg
- Gram (chana) – 1 kg
- Soyabean bari – 500 g
The beneficiaries expressed sincere gratitude for the compassionate medical support and nutritional assistance provided under this project.
