The Ma Sharada Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation Department of the Medical Centre of Ramakrishna Math, Rajkot organised a Matri-Vandana programme on Friday, 31st July 2026, honouring mothers of children with special needs.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Shri Tushar D. Sumera, IAS, Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot, whose address inspired all present. Captain Meera Siddharth Dave, former Army Officer, also delivered an inspiring speech. Other distinguished guests likewise addressed the gathering, offering words of encouragement and appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the mothers.
Approximately 500 persons participated in the event. All those present were presented with books on Swami Vivekananda, and refreshments were served to everyone.
