A free medical camp was organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Kanpur, at Village Keshari Nevada, Bhewan, Kanpur Dehat on Sunday, 12th October 2025. The camp was part of the Ashrama’s ongoing community service initiatives aimed at extending healthcare support to rural and underserved areas.
Team and Arrangement
The medical services were rendered by the Ashrama dispensary team, comprising two doctors (general physicians), supporting medical staff, and a group of dedicated volunteers. The entire team was led by a monastic member of the Ashrama. Essential medicines and diagnostic facilities were carried from the Ashrama to ensure comprehensive care for the villagers.
Beneficiaries and Services Provided
During the camp, a total of 72 patients from the village and surrounding areas received free medical consultation and treatment.
The beneficiaries included:
- 31 male patients
- 32 female patients
- 09 children
Each patient was given personal attention, and free medicines were distributed as per diagnosis. Awareness was also created about preventive healthcare, hygiene, and early consultation for common ailments.
