March 2026, Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi, conducted several medical initiatives covering Homeopathy, Allopathy, and Routine Immunization to support the health of the local community.
1. Homeopathy Medical Camp
The monthly Homeopathy camp was held on 1 March 2026 (Sunday), supervised by Dr. Ashis Kumar Kundu Nelli from Morigaon.
- Beneficiaries: 9 patients (4 males, 5 females).
- Services: Medical examinations and distribution of medicines as per prescriptions.
- Schedule: These check-ups are recurring on the first Sunday of every month.
2. Free Allopathy Medical Camps
Two Allopathy camps were organized under the supervision of Dr. Arindam Ganguly from Sonari, Charaideo:
- 15 March 2026: 24 patients examined (12 males, 12 females).
- 29 March 2026: 25 patients examined (11 males, 14 females).
- Additional Support: In addition to free medicines, the Ashrama has partnered with a local clinical lab to provide diagnostic services at minimal costs.
3. Free Routine Immunization Camp
In collaboration with Digboi CHC (under Ketetong Block PHC), a specialized immunization camp was held on 25 March 2026 at the Ashrama premises.
- Total Beneficiaries: 25 individuals.
- Maternal Care: 3 pregnant women received TD-1 and TD-2 vaccinations.
- Child Healthcare: 15 children and youth (up to 10 years old) received routine immunizations.
- Nutritional Support: 7 beneficiaries received free vitamin supplements.
