Medical Outreach Programme: Durban, November 2025

The Ramakrishna Clinic of South Africa–Durban conducted a Medical Outreach Programme at Chatsworth on 30 November 2025, providing comprehensive free healthcare services to 201 patients across a wide range of specialities, including General Medicine, Haematology, Neurology, Paediatrics, ENT, Urology, Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Optometry.

More than 120 patients received free vision testing and spectacles, facilitated in partnership with the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s mobile Optometry Clinic. A blood donation drive was also organised in collaboration with the South African National Blood Service.

Free laboratory tests and medication were made available to all attendees. Around 40 professional medical personnel, along with a dedicated team of devotee volunteers, rendered their services during the programme.

Nutritious meals were served to all patients and volunteers, making the outreach programme a holistic and compassionate service effort.and nutritional support to the neediest families throughout the Durban region.
