Ramakrishna Mission, Sitanagaram Vijayawada celebrated the National Youth Day
A procession followed by Bhajans and a meeting was conducted on 12 January 2020 at Sitanagaram starting from the Ramakrishna Mission High School, going around the locality and returning back, in which about 500 students, teachers of Ramakrishna Mission High School, Sitanagaram and admirers participated. Swami Sevyananda ji, Ramakrishna Mission, Vijayawada addressed the gathering.
Swamiji’s statue at Raghavaiah Park, Vijayawada was garlanded by Swami Vishwarajananda, Ramakrishna Mission, Vijayawada. 50 students, teachers of Ramakrishna Mission High School, Sitanagaram and admires participated.
The Department of Youth Services, Government of Andhra Pradesh conducted District and State Level Competitions for youth covering all the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh in Essay Writing, Elocution etc. based on Swami Vivekananda’s literature and organized a special program on 12 January 2020 at Thummalapallivari Kshetrayya Kalakshetram, Vijayawada on the occasion of National Youth Day Celebrations. 500 winners in the competitions were invited for the program, handed over the mementoes and certificates by Sri M. Srinivasa Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Culture & Youth Advancement Department, Sri M. Vishnu, Honb’le MLA for Vijayawada Central, Smt. C. Nagarani, I.A.S, Director, Youth Services, Govt. of AP & Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh Society for Training and Employment Promotion (APSTEP), Sri A.M.D. Imtiaz, I.A.S, Collector & District Magistrate, Krishna District, Swami Sevyanandaji, Ramakrishna Mission, Vijayawada, Smt. K. Hampi, Rapid World Chess Champion. Swami Sevyananda ji addressed the gathering amongst other dignitaries during the programme.
