National Youth Day 2022 : Dhaleswar

Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaleswar, observed the National Youth Day and the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by offering of flower on the Statue of Swami Vivekananda in the ashrama complex with prayers to the Holy Trio, Vaidik Chanting by Swami Divyarasananda and bhajans by Br. Sthirachaitanya. Following this, Swamiji’s “SWADESH MANTRA” was chanted by the members of Vivek Bahini.

Swami Indratmananda, Secretary of the ashrama, welcomed the guests, students and the members of the ashrama. He explained the significance of this celebration and advised students to follow the path as shown by Swamiji.

Sri Swapan Chandra Das, Chairperson, Police Accountability Commission, Tripura and Chairman, Human Rights Commission was the Chief Guest. His speech was very inspiring for the youth to absorb the spirit of Swamiji for this present situation.

Sri Suman Deb, Asst. Professor, NIT Agartala gave a motivational lecture and said “We have to raise ourselves and raise the Nation by following Swamiji’s teachings”.

Speech of Sri Mridul Sarkar, Asst. Secretary, Seva and Sahayata Parishad was also encouraging for the students.

Fifty students from ICFAI University, BBM College, MBB College, Tripura Women’s College participated in this celebration. They have performed Recitation, Chorus song, and patriotic song.

Vote of thanks was given by Retd. Professor Sri Malay Nayak.

The programme was ended with “Jayadhawani” in the name of the Holy Trio. After the programme Prasad (lunch) was arranged for all the participants.
