Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Ashrama, Raipur, organised a “Sammelan” on Thursday 12 January 2023 to celebrate National Youth Day. The programme started at 9.30 am followed by the lamp lighting, and Vedic chanting. Swami Avyayatmanandaji gave a welcome address and emphasized the importance of National Youth Day.
The eminent speaker Swami Sarvottamananda ji, Vice Chancellor, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University, Belur Math, Howrah delivered a speech on “Swami Vivekananda ka Bharat Prem” He said that Swamiji had an incomparable Love for India. Sri Subhash Chandrakar Professor Durga Mahavidyalay Raipur explained the life and teachings of Swamiji to the Students. Shri Shailendra Singh Former Vice Chancellor of Jagdlpur University guided in his presidential address how Shri Ramakrishna Dev made Swamiji spiritually strong. Again he told the short stories of Swamiji life that very much inspired the audience.
The 298 students (Boys & Girls) participated in the function. In the end, a snack packet and one book of Swamiji were distributed to all the participants.
