On 12 January 2026, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Kanpur, celebrated National Youth Day at its school campus. The event featured inspirational talks on Swami Vivekananda delivered by the Ashrama’s monastics, with 150 students in attendance.
Continuing the celebrations, the Ashrama organized a mono-acting play titled Yoddha Sannyasi Vivekananda on 15 January at the school’s Vivekananda Hall. Performed by Sri Damodar Ramdasi and his team from Pune, the play depicted the life of Swami Vivekananda and was attended by 300 students and local youths.
