Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy, observed National Youth Day on 12 January 2026, with a series of programs spread across two sessions, engaging students from the primary to the collegiate level.
Session I: Morning Procession & Cultural Program The celebrations commenced with a vibrant rally featuring students from the Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa (GAP) and Guruji Vidyaniketan Primary School. Participants carried placards highlighting the life-giving messages of Swami Vivekananda. Following the rally, a cultural program was held at the Ashrama. At the conclusion of this session, prasad packets were distributed to 180 students and teachers.
Session II: Youth Convention The afternoon session featured a Youth Convention attended by 114 participants from one college and four schools. The proceedings included:
- Spiritual Prelude: Guided meditation in the Ashrama Temple.
- Inauguration: Vedic invocation at the Ashrama Auditorium.
- Keynote Addresses: Insights were shared by three guest speakers:
- Swami Narasimhanandaji Maharaj (Secretary, RK Mission Sevashrama, Kozhikode)
- Sri Ramesh P. (Retired Headmaster)
- Dr. Anish (Professor, Dept. of Forestry)
The event concluded with the distribution of lunch prasad to 145 individuals, including students, staff, and volunteers.
