National Youth Day was observed at Ramakrishna Math, Purnea, on 12 January 2026, through a series of commemorative events and educational seminars.
1. Morning Session at the Math: Despite extreme winter conditions, over 60 participants—including students and senior citizens—gathered at the Ashrama. The program featured devotional music, commemorative speeches, and the recitation of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings. The session concluded with participants taking a collective resolve to incorporate Swamiji’s ideals into their lives, followed by the distribution of Prasad.
2. Outreach Seminar: In the afternoon, a youth seminar was held at the Swami Vivekananda Study Circle, Vidya Vihar Institute of Technology. Swami Jitendrananda, President of Ramakrishna Math, Purnea, delivered the keynote address. The session was highly interactive, featuring an extensive Q&A where the Swami addressed the students’ spiritual and personal queries.
