On 12 January 2026, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Medinipur, observed National Youth Day with a series of inspiring events.
- Morning Procession: The day commenced at 7:30 am with a vibrant Prabhat Pheri (morning procession). Approximately 1,200 students and devotees participated in the circumambulation, and tiffin was served to all participants following the walk.
- Yuva Sammelan (Youth Convention): A dedicated Youth Convention was held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, involving 1,000 students from 11 different schools and colleges across Medinipur city.
- Programme Highlights: The convention featured a variety of cultural and educational segments, including inspirational lectures, devotional bhajans, and poetry recitations centered on the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
- Conclusion: The celebration concluded with the distribution of noon prasad to the 1,000 students and guardians in attendance.
