Ramakrishna Mission, Viveknagar, Agartala, observed the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples on 9 August 2026. Students from various classes enthusiastically participated in the programme. Teachers spoke about the lives, cultures, traditions, and challenges of Indigenous people, with special emphasis on protecting their identity, respecting their rights, and building a secure and dignified future for them.
