A Bhakta Sammelan was organised by Ramakrishna Mission, Somsar on Sunday, 16 August 2026, at Indus Sukanta Lodge, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The programme was attended by approximately 300 devotees.
The proceedings commenced with Vedic chanting, followed by an opening song and devotional singing rendered by Swami Kalyaneshananda, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Kamarpukur Ashrama. The welcome address was delivered by Swami Amalatmananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Somsar.
The chief speaker of the Bhakta Sammelan was Swami Balabhadrananda ji Maharaj, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, whose discourse illumined the gathering with spiritual guidance. Devotional songs were also rendered by Suchana Nandy.
At the conclusion of the programme, tiffin and noon prasad were distributed to all the devotees present.
