As part of its regular monthly welfare outreach, Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal conducted a two-day programme on 13th and 14th August 2026 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, extending support to families of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
70 families received provisions on each day, totalling 140 beneficiary families. Essential household provisions and diapers were distributed. 53 packets of diapers — 35 child-size and 17 adult-size, with 20 diapers per packet — were also distributed to children and adults requiring them.

On both days, two Block Coordinators conducted an awareness programme on government healthcare schemes and welfare services available for children with special needs. Around 140 beneficiaries and caregivers participated. Noon prasad was served to approximately 190 persons over the two days.
