Ramakrishna Math, Rajkot, conducted its annual series of value-based competitions on the theme “Punya Bhumi Bharatavarsha” from 14th to 28th December 2025 for students of Classes 1 to 12. These competitions—an inspiring tradition since 1966—aim to instill cultural pride, moral values, and creativity among young participants.
A wide range of events was organized, including fancy dress, group singing, drawing, elocution (Gujarati, Hindi, English), recitation (Gujarati, Hindi, English, Sanskrit), and story-telling. This year witnessed an overwhelming response, with 9,454 students from 166 schools across Rajkot participating enthusiastically.
Among them, 935 students secured ranks from 1st to 5th and were awarded certificates and books.
A special Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 25 January 2026 to honour the 196 first-prize winners across all categories. Shri Rameshbhai Tilala, MLA, Rajkot (South), along with the monks of the Rajkot centre, presented shields, certificates, and books of Swami Vivekananda to the awardees, encouraging them to imbibe noble values and continue striving for excellence.
