Crops in the delta areas have been submerged and severely damaged due to recent heavy rains in Tamil Nadu. Agricultural workers and day labourers are suffering for want of food.
Ramakrishna Mission Thanjavur conducted a relief service, feeding 5000 people twice a day in 10 places for three days. Totally 30,000 delicious and healthy meals were distributed to poor people from 30 November to 02 December 2021.
