A vibrant Science and Social Science Exhibition was organized at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyabhavan (H.S.), Midnapore, as a joint effort of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyabhavan (H.S.) and Ramakrishna Mission Primary School, Midnapore. The event marked the revival of a major academic initiative, held after a long gap since 2014, and generated tremendous enthusiasm among students and visitors alike.

The exhibition featured over 117 stalls, an Art Gallery, and numerous innovative models prepared by students from different academic streams. The projects covered a wide range of subjects including Robotic Technology, Space Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English, History, and Geography. Students confidently demonstrated their models and charts, explaining scientific principles and social concepts to the attendees.

The exhibition drew large participation from the education community. More than 15 schools from Midnapore town and surrounding areas visited the venue. Notably, Ramakrishna Mission Ekalavya School, Jhargram brought 70 students by bus to experience the event. Each day, over 1,000 students along with their guardians visited the exhibition, creating a lively and festive academic atmosphere.

Several renowned professors visited the exhibition, interacting with the students and offering inspiring comments that further motivated them. Models on Robotic Technology and Physical Science received exceptional appreciation from the public for their creativity and practical relevance.

The exhibition was inaugurated on 23rd January by Swami Prarthanananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Midnapore, coinciding with Saraswati Puja and the 129th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The three-day event remained open daily from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

On the concluding day, 15 outstanding models from various departments were recognized and awarded with trophies. The exhibition ended with joy, inspiration, and appreciation from all participants and visitors.to underserved families, reaffirming the Mission’s ongoing commitment to service and welfare.
