With the aim of inspiring young minds to explore diverse career opportunities in the Indian Navy, a special lecture titled “Indian Navy – A Career of Adventure, Responsibility and Lifelong Learning” was organised at the Vivekananda Hall of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Hatamuniguda, on 14 August 2026 at 6.30 p.m.
The programme was conducted by Lieutenant Arnav Singh Patyal of Headquarters Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam. In an informative and encouraging address, supported by video presentations, Lieutenant Patyal acquainted the student audience with the various facets of the Indian Navy and highlighted its wide range of rewarding career pathways.
The lecture was followed by an engaging question-and-answer session, during which students actively interacted with the speaker, seeking guidance on eligibility, training, and service opportunities.
Shri Ranganath Banerjee, Principal, welcomed the gathering, and Swami Prabhuvarananda proposed the vote of thanks.
