Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram, organised a summer camp titled SHRADDHA – 2026 for school students from 24 April to 17 May 2026. The camp was attended by 174 students, who participated with great enthusiasm throughout its duration.
The camp offered a comprehensive programme of spiritual and cultural activities aimed at the holistic development of young students. Participants received training in Yoga asanas, Vedic chanting, guided meditation, bhajans, and Bhagavad Gita recitation. They were also engaged in drawing, crafts, and traditional Indian games. Value-based moral education was imparted through inspiring stories drawn from the lives of saints and luminaries. The students learned and recited selected inspiring teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Nutritious breakfast was provided to all participants every day throughout the camp.
A special Vidyarthi Homa was conducted on 9 May 2026 for the spiritual upliftment and welfare of the students.
Valedictory Function — 17 May 2026
The valedictory programme was held on 17 May 2026. Sri T. Veera Raghavendra Rao, District Judge, Rajamahendravaram, attended the function as the Chief Guest and addressed the gathered students and parents.
Swami Sashikantananda and Swami Parijneyananda delivered inspiring messages to the students and their parents, offering guidance on the importance of discipline, spiritual values, and the ideals of the Ramakrishna Order in everyday life.
The students presented various cultural programmes and demonstrations, reflecting the skills, values, and spiritual understanding cultivated during the course of the camp. Approximately 180 parents attended the concluding function.
Participation certificates and books were distributed to all students and volunteers in recognition of their dedication and effort. Cooked prasadam was served to all attendees at the conclusion of the programme.
