Ramakrishna Math, Rajkot Celebrates Teachers Day with Seminar on “Teacher as a Torchbearer”
On September 5, 2024, the Ramakrishna Math, Rajkot organized a seminar titled “Teacher as a Torchbearer” to commemorate Teachers Day. The event was held from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and featured insightful talks by distinguished guests.
Shri Dikshit Patel, the District Education Officer of Rajkot, and Dr. Bhadrayu Vacchrajani, former Vice-Chancellor of Lokbharati University for Rural Innovation, Sanosara, inaugurated the seminar. Both speakers emphasized the crucial role of teachers in shaping the nation’s future.
The program included inspiring videos and a lively question-and-answer session that engaged the audience. As a token of appreciation, all participants received a set of books by Swami Vivekananda. Approximately 300 people attended the seminar.
