Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Sribhumi (Karimganj), successfully concluded a Two-Month Summer Internship Programme with a Summer Camp on 30 July 2026.
The internship was organised at the request of the Department of Philosophy, Karimganj College, for 45 Fifth Semester (Honours) students under the guidance of Dr. Soumya Kanti Biswas, Head of the Department. Over the two-month period, students attended daily classes at the Ashrama covering the fundamentals of Hinduism, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Karma Yoga, Practical Vedanta, and the life and message of Swami Vivekananda. Guided meditation sessions and value-based discussions were also conducted every Sunday by the monastic members and Brahmacharins of the Ashrama.

Approximately 45 students, along with faculty members, attended the concluding programme. In his concluding address, Dr. Soumya Kanti Biswas conveyed sincere appreciation to the Ashrama for its wholehearted cooperation and meticulous arrangements throughout the internship. He observed that the programme carried immense academic and moral value and expressed hope that such collaborative initiatives would continue in the future.
The students noted that the internship had deepened their understanding of Indian philosophy and inspired them to lead disciplined and value-oriented lives.
