Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Ashrama, Raipur organised a Youth Retreat on 11 September 2026 at the Vivekananda Satsang Bhavan, Raipur, to commemorate the 133rd Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World’s Parliament of Religions, Chicago.
The half-day programme was held from 9:00 am to 1:40 pm and was attended by around 300 students from 18 schools of Raipur city. The proceedings commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by Vedic chanting.

An interactive question-and-answer session was also conducted, during which students sought guidance on education, concentration, character development, values, career, and personality development.
Each participant was presented with a participation certificate and a book of inspiring stories from the life of Swami Vivekananda. Cooked Prasad was distributed to all at the conclusion of the programme.
