On Thursday, 11 September 2025, Ramakrishna Mission, Sri Vijayapuram, in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM), organised a commemorative meeting at the college auditorium to mark the Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the Parliament of Religions, Chicago.
The programme commenced with chanting of Shanti Mantras, followed by devotional songs presented by members of Sri Sarada Sangha and the collective recitation of Swamiji’s Swadesh Mantra. Inspiring commemorative lectures were delivered by the Principal of the college, a senior faculty member, and the representative of the Ashrama.
The event concluded with the distribution of books on Swami Vivekananda and refreshment packets to all participants.
Nearly 350 people, including the Principal, faculty members, and a large number of students, enthusiastically took part in the programme.
