A 60-day skill development training programme, sponsored by the Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, concluded at the Divyayan Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Ranchi-Morabadi. The training ran from 27th April to 26th June 2026, with 22 ex-servicemen from the Army, Navy, and Air Force participating.
The programme was inaugurated by Lt. Col. Robin Dev Anand, Chief Guest, along with Sri Amit Kumar, Guest of Honour, and Swami Bhaveshananda, Secretary of the Ashrama. Dr. Rajesh Kumar spoke on Divyayan’s integrated farming activities, while Dr. Bharat Mahato urged corporate-led job fairs for trainees in the dairy, poultry, and goat-rearing sectors.
Lt. Col. Robin Dev Anand encouraged the trainees to play an active role in the nation’s development through informed decision-making in animal husbandry. Sri Amit Kumar highlighted opportunities in poultry and dairy farming, noting that domestic production meets only about 70% of demand. Swami Bhaveshananda commended the servicemen’s service to the nation and urged them to continue building a self-reliant India.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Sri Sanjay Dinda, with Sri P. Sharma, Sri Gambhir Mahato, and Sri Amar Mahato also present.
