Ramakrishna Math, Konampatti conducted a series of Value Education Programmes and Cultural Book Fairs at schools and colleges across Sattur and Sivakasi throughout August 2026.
Sattur — S.H.N. Ethel Harvey Girls Higher Secondary School (4–6 August)
A Value Education Programme was held on 4 August for Class XI students, attended by approximately 300 students and teachers. A two-day Cultural Book Fair and Exhibition on Swami Vivekananda followed on 5 and 6 August, inaugurated by the school Principal. Around 1,876 students visited the exhibition and acquired literature published by centres of the Ramakrishna Order.
Sattur — S.H.N. Edward Higher Secondary School and Middle School (10–11 August)
Value Education Programmes were conducted on 10 and 11 August, with approximately 680 students participating. A one-day Cultural Book Fair held on 10 August drew around 400 students.
Sivakasi and Sattur — Rotary Mat. Hr. Sec. School and K. C. A. D. Chidambaram Gnanagiri Mat. Hr. Sec. School (18 and 20 August)
Programmes were held at Rotary Mat. Hr. Sec. School, Sivakasi (18 August) and K. C. A. D. Chidambaram Gnanagiri Mat. Hr. Sec. School, Sattur (20 August). The Principals and Correspondents of both institutions provided enthusiastic support. Around 300 students participated in the Value Education Programmes, and 1,496 students visited the book fairs.
Sivakasi — Polytechnic Colleges and Vinayakar Matriculation Higher Secondary School (28–29 August)
Three Value Education Programmes were conducted across two days at the following institutions:

Swami Harivratananda, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore served as the Chief Guest Speaker for these sessions. He delivered engaging musical discourses on Value Education, emphasising the importance of character-building and patriotism. The students participated actively, joining the speaker in song during the interactive sessions.
