Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Silchar, organised a two-day Value Orientation Camp for school students of Classes VIII to X on 16 and 17 May 2026. The programme was designed to inculcate moral and spiritual values among adolescent students through structured sessions and guided activities.
On the first day, 413 students and 78 teachers participated in the camp. The second day saw the attendance of 327 students and 67 teachers, bringing the total participation across both days to 740 students and 145 teachers from various schools.
The camp was graced by the presence of two distinguished monastic guests. Swami Jnanalokananda ji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda’s Ancestral House and Cultural Centre, Kolkata, and Swami Hitakamananda ji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong, attended as guest monks and offered their guidance and blessings to the participants.
The programme was conducted under the auspices of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Silchar, as part of its ongoing educational and youth development initiatives.
