A special meeting focused on the theme of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) was convened on 19 May 2025 at Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Viveknagar (Agartala). The meeting brought together senior government officials and representatives of the institution to deliberate upon the effective implementation of the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy framework under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The Principal Accountant General (Audit), Tripura, accompanied by his team, participated in the meeting along with officials from the Education Department, Government of Tripura, and the concerned team of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Viveknagar. The deliberations centred on various dimensions of the FLN implementation programme as carried out within the Ramakrishna Mission.
During the visit, the delegations were apprised of the educational systems and practices adopted by Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Viveknagar (Agartala), particularly those aligned with the 360-Degree Holistic Progress model prescribed under NEP 2020 for the all-round development of students. The visiting teams expressed their appreciation upon observing the comprehensive and student-centric frameworks that have been put in place at the institution.
The meeting served as a significant platform for meaningful engagement between governmental and institutional stakeholders, underscoring the Ramakrishna Mission’s continued commitment to educational excellence and its proactive alignment with national education goals.
