Ramakrishna Math, Madurai organised two Value Education Camps for Standard VII students of TVS School, Madurai, on 22 October 2026 and 23 October 2026. A total of 276 students participated: 146 students on the first day and 130 students on the second day. The programme ran for about five and a half hours each day, from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.
The programme consisted of the chanting of shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita, and the reading out of the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, which the students repeated. Group discussions were held on “Discovering Oneself – Ice Breaker Activity” and “Academic Honesty Scenario”. Games and activities based on a “Resilience Challenge” were conducted, followed by yogasanas. A short video clip on the life of Swami Vivekananda was also screened.
