Values Education Program: Bhubaneswar, March 2026

Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Bhubaneswar

A Value Education Program was conducted on 29 March 2026 at Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Bhubaneswar. The program was designed to provide teachers with moral, spiritual, and value-based insights for the holistic development of students.

The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Hon’ble Governor of Odisha, who emphasized the importance of values in modern education. Key speakers and participants included:

  • Swami Bodhamayananda, Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad, who spoke on spiritual values.
  • Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda, Vice Chancellor of SOA University, who discussed ethical learning.
  • Er. Somanath Mishra, Retired General Manager of NALCO, who spoke on professional values.
  • Swami Maheshatmananda, Assistant Secretary, who provided practical approaches to value education.
  • Swami Advayananda, who served as the coordinator for the program.

A total of 307 teachers from various institutions attended the three sessions, which covered moral development, teacher-student relationships, and curriculum integration. The program ran from 9:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and was highly appreciated by the participants. Teachers were provided with breakfast, lunch, and tea during the event.
