Ramakrishna Math, Haripad, successfully conducted a Vivekananda Values Education Program (VVEP) on 30th October 2025. The program was specifically organized for the students of Naduvattom Vocational Higher Secondary School, Naduvattom, Alleppey. The initiative aimed to inspire and educate the youth on practical spiritual and ethical principles.
Key Sessions and Themes
A total of 102 students from the school participated in and benefited from the educational program. The core focus of the session addressed two vital themes relevant to youth development:
- Importance of transforming oneself for individual & National development
- Goal Setting and Achieving it
The program structure included formal talks delivered by a Monk and a Guest Speaker, followed by engaging interaction sessions with the participating students.
Devotional and Concluding Activities
The event began with a devotional touch: the photo of Swami Vivekananda was garlanded, and Pushpanjali was offered by the students, staff, Principal, and PTA members.
The participants were provided with snacks and were given free gift of books to encourage continued reading and learning of Swami Vivekananda’s message.
