Ramakrishna Math, Konampatti, organized two significant Value Education Programs for college students on 7 and 8 April 2026. The programs aimed to instill moral excellence and provide a spiritual orientation to the youth in the pursuit of their academic and personal lives.
The events were graced by Swami Vimurtananda, Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, who served as the chief guest and keynote speaker. In his addresses, the Swami emphasized the critical importance of a value-oriented life amidst the complexities of the modern era. His discourses provided the students and faculty with an insightful introduction to the inclusive and character-building values essential for a holistic education.
The schedule of the programs was as follows:
- 7 April 2026: A session was held at The Standard Fireworks Rajaratnam College for Women, Sivakasi, which was attended by approximately 150 students.
- 8 April 2026: A larger gathering took place at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, where around 350 students participated.
