The Vivek Chetana Quiz Competition was successfully organized and conducted by the members of Vivek Sangh, a newly founded male group at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Chandigarh. The initiative aimed to inspire young minds with the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and foster a spirit of knowledge and values among students.
Participation
- The competition was held across five schools in Chandigarh.
- It was open to students of Classes 8, 9, and 10.
- Around 120 students enthusiastically took part in the quiz.
- The quiz was conducted within the premises of each participating school.
Enrichment Sessions
On the day of the quiz, short sessions on the message of Swami Vivekananda were conducted in each school. These sessions provided students with valuable insights into his ideals of self-confidence, discipline, and service to humanity.
Prize Distribution Ceremony
All participants, along with their Principals and coordinating teachers, were invited to the Prize Distribution Ceremony held on 20th May 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

The program concluded with the distribution of snacks to around 140 attendees
Speeches
Awarding of trophies, certificates, and literature of Swami Vivekananda to the students
Laminations bearing Swamiji’s photo and message, presented as tokens of appreciation to the Principals and teachers
