Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaleswar, successfully conducted its Winter Relief Service, distributing essential items to needy residents across multiple villages in the region, in December 2025. The relief efforts were aimed at providing warmth and essential clothing to vulnerable families ahead of the severe winter months.
Items Distributed
A total of 573 items were distributed to the beneficiaries:

The distribution of 523 blankets formed the core of the service, offering direct protection against the cold. The saris and dhotis were distributed to meet the basic clothing needs of the adults in the beneficiary families.
Areas Covered
The Winter Relief Service focused on reaching needy residents in the following three villages/blocks:
- Karaiamura Village (Tapania Block)
- Rajarband Village (Jirania Block)
- Dhanai Village (Mandhai Block)
Monks and volunteers of the Mission ensured that the distribution reached the most deserving and economically disadvantaged families in these remote areas, demonstrating the spirit of compassionate service during the winter season.
