Every third Sunday of the month, Ramakrishna Mission, Kalyani, conducts ‘Dwipakshik Matri Puja,’ a program dedicated to providing relief items to approximately 140 economically disadvantaged elderly mothers.
On 18 January 2026, the event commenced at 9:30 AM with the chanting of Vedic hymns. Registered participants were warmly welcomed with garlands and sandal tilak. The relief kits distributed during the program included essential items such as rice, dal, potatoes, puffed rice, dalia, and soybeans. The session concluded at 11:15 AM with a closing peace chant.
