On September 29th, Ramakrishna Math, Rishikesh, conducted a welfare program at the Krishna Nagar-IDPL Colony benefiting 120 women. The initiative was two-fold, combining material relief with educational outreach.
In terms of relief, 120 dry ration kits were distributed. Each kit contained essential provisions, including 1 kg Dal, 1 kg cooking oil, 2 kg potatoes, 2 kg Atta, and various spices.
The educational component included a webinar organized on the same day from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM on the theme: ‘How to keep up fit and safety?’ This session was organized by doctors, workers, and medical nursing staff from Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Kankhal, and also included mothers of Cerebral Palsy children. The webinar covered awareness programs on Health, Hygiene, and Child Care. Three well-known professionals delivered expert speeches, and the program saw a total participation of 120 people.
