Ramakrishna Mission, Somsar organized a Youth Convention on 03 July 2022, in commemoration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Swami Ajneyananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Bardhaman and Sri Supratik Chakraborty, Convenor, Kolkata Bhavaprachar Parishad were the Chief Guest and the Special Guest respectively. In addition to the speeches, devotional songs on Swami Vivekananda, and Extempore speeches by the students followed by a Quiz Contest were carried out. 260 students from surrounding villages participated in the programme.
